May Ayim (1960-1996) war eine ghanaisch-deutsche Dichterin und Wissenschaftlerin, die die Schwarze Deutsche Bewegung prägte. Ihre Werke, wie der Gedichtband "nachtgesang" und die Anthologie "Grenzenlos und unverschämt", thematisieren Rassismus und schaffen eine Verbindung zum Publikum.
