Často dle mě zbytečně opomíjená kniha z cyklu Marquart-Rougonů. Krásný lyrický příběh ukazující, co se stane s dcerou Lízy Marquatové v jiném prostředí. V Paříži by zřejmě z Pavlínky nevyrostla tak čistá duše. Kdo ví?
