    Een zesendertigjarige pas gescheiden portretschilder neemt zijn intrek in een oud atelier in de bergachtige omgeving ten zuidwesten van Tokio. Un personnage étrange en surgit qui invite à entrer dans le passage souterrain. C'est le début d'un périple qui va le conduire au-devant des forces du mal..
