Mr and Mrs Grunt, who are neither clean nor clever, live with their adopted - in fact, abducted - son, Sunny, in a donkey-drawn caravan somewhere or other at some time that is a bit like now but not exactly now. Together the unusual family find themselves in frankly improbable but very funny adventures.
Meet Mr and Mrs Grunt. They're not that bad. No, actually, they ARE. Maybe worse, even. But Sunny, their sort-of son, is okay. They stole him from a washing line as a baby. He was hanging by his ears, which probably explains why they're so wonky.
The third book in this hilarious series. Like 'The Twits' for a new generation, the Grunts are neither clean nor clever, but their adventures are most definitely terrifically fun reading. Created by two stars of the children's book world: Philip Ardagh's hilarious text is brought to life with illustrations throughout by Axel Scheffler.
A thrilling prison break sets the stage for the Grunts as they face off against vengeful enemies seeking retribution. As they embark on a high-stakes adventure, familiar characters return, adding depth to the unfolding drama. The narrative promises to resolve lingering mysteries while delivering excitement and tension in this final installment of the series.
