Más información sobre el libro
This book provides a comprehensive overview of the Ikarus project, a three-year EU-funded initiative aimed at creating an interactive learning environment centered on cooperation and collaboration. The project focused on the acquisition of new knowledge through joint efforts in international groups. Two courses addressed key themes in virtual learning environments, emphasizing collaborative development of learning materials through discussions and project participation. The Ikarus project reassessed significant aspects of learning in these environments, particularly in subjects like law, educational science, and computer science, highlighting the importance of communication among educators and learners. To achieve its goals, the project conducted international online courses that fostered intensive communication, specifically in teaching and learning within virtual settings. Educational guidelines were established, and teaching and learning behaviors were evaluated. This book details the background and evolution of the online seminars, along with insights gained from the summer semester course in 2004.
