Más información sobre el libro

This small book is the result of a seminar organized by the Koc University Law School, the Dr. Nüsret-Semahat Arsel Research Center of International Business Law, and the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law, held in Istanbul. In March 2007, scholars from five South Eastern European nations and Germany convened to explore legal issues related to the distribution of justice and contract law within their legal systems. The conference aimed to present and discuss national laws in the context of European harmonization. The diverse group included Germany and Greece as long-time EU members, Bulgaria and Romania as recent additions, and Turkey and Ukraine as future aspirants for EU membership, making the discussions particularly engaging. Contributions include works on contract law from Prof. Dr. Evanghelos Perakis (University of Athens), Dr. Christian Takoff (Sofia University), Ionut Raduletu (Romania), Prof. Dr. Lale Sirmen (University of Ankara), and Dr. Lyubov Logush (National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy). In civil procedure, papers were presented by Dr. Roksolana Khanyk-Pospolitak (National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy), Dr. Nihat Gümen (University of Istanbul), Dr. Mirela Stancu (University of Bucharest), Dr. Aleksander Katzarski (University of Sofia), and Prof. Dr. Konstantinos Kerameus (Hellenic Institute of International and Foreign Law).
