Volume 2 of the „Beiträge zur Islamischen Kunst und Archäologie“ (BIKA) features contributions from colloquies held in Vienna (2007) and Bamberg (2008) under the Ernst Herzfeld Society. The topics encompass architecture, archaeology, painting, textile arts, and applied arts, spanning regions from Spain to Iran and India, and extending to Europe, with a timeline from the Early Islamic period to the 20th century.
