Edmund Kuppel’s photographic works and installations, documented on 25 gatefolds, illustrate movement, the phases of development that lie at the foundation of our perception. Often, the act of projection itself becomes the subject. Just as the first camera devices often served as devices for presentation, using light instead of absorbing it, it is not clear whether what we see is actually existent or merely a projection.
