Más información sobre el libro

We are pleased to present a significant advancement in AK education with this booklet, a collaborative effort from three practitioners specializing in different medical fields. Previous AK educational materials omitted many muscles deemed rarely relevant in general practice. However, the manual medicine aspect of AK necessitates a focus on local examination and treatment, prompting this book to offer a comprehensive depiction of muscles valuable for such practices. For ease of reference, muscles are organized alphabetically, with a list of abbreviations provided on page 7. Important reflexes and nutritional associations are outlined for each muscle, although some smaller muscles lack these associations due to incomplete investigations within ICAK. Common reasons for examining these smaller muscles in manual medicine include trauma-related pain and conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and degenerative diseases, as well as certain neurological issues. Neural therapy is discussed and illustrated in some cases, despite its limited use among AK practitioners in the UK and USA. This therapy remains a valuable option worth exploring, and we encourage seeking out open-minded physicians for potential collaboration if indicated.
