„Included in the book are three distinct groups of images: 1. Photographs of the 1996 performance at Tomio Kayama Gallery, Tokyo (approximately 75 crisp images mostly in brilliant reds); 2. Ten drawings created during the performance sharing a color palette of browns, reds, black and green; 3. In the first exhibition the photographs were accompanied by artificial Christmas trees. The c. 36 images of these trees which were photographed before the opening of the exhibition form the third group in the book.“ Paul McCarthy.
