This book features selected papers from VISIGRAPP 2007, the Joint Conference on Computer Vision and Computer Graphics, which included the International Conference on Computer Vision Theory and Applications (VISAPP) and the International Conference on Computer Graphics Theory and Applications (GRAPP). The event took place in Barcelona, Spain, from March 8–11, 2007, attracting 382 paper submissions from over 50 countries across all five continents, highlighting the conferences' global reach. After a rigorous double-blind evaluation, 78 submissions were accepted as full papers, with 18 selected for inclusion in this volume. These were chosen based on high evaluation scores from the VISIGRAPP Program Committee and were subsequently revised by the authors to ensure scientific quality. Special thanks are extended to all contributors and reviewers for their essential roles. The conference also featured four invited keynote lectures from internationally recognized researchers, which significantly enhanced the event's overall quality. The speakers included Jake K. Aggarwal (The University of Texas at Austin, USA), André Gagalowicz (INRIA, France), Wolfgang Heidrich (University of British Columbia, Canada), and Mel Slater (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Spain).
