One of the concepts deserving attention from 21st-century philosophers is that of human life. Traditionally, religion addressed the limits of life, particularly in relation to sickness and death, offering knowledge of salvation and a sense of purpose. However, in recent times, religion has been increasingly replaced by other entities in its role concerning human life. This shift raises new questions: To what extent can the state and market assume responsibility for the meaning of human life and provide answers to the paradoxes of suffering and death? Can the state utilize technology and scientific knowledge to regulate the population according to its objectives? Are there ethical limits to experimentation at various stages of human life? Is it possible to maintain a sacred sphere for human existence? This work presents an extensive reflection aimed at addressing these complexities and finding answers to these pressing issues.
