Preamble of the editors: The ARC 2019 is the eighth conference of the Master of Applied Research program. This conference takes place on July 08, 2019 at the OTH Regensburg. During the ARC 2019 conference, the students of the program are able to present their research project results as papers. The research papers are selected for an oral or a poster presentation. The student s participation in the conference gives them the opportunity to share their research with a wide variety of peers and experts. The feedback they receive here allows them to reassess their work, gain motivation and promote their personal and academic progress...
