Twenty one year old Hayley Anderson is anything but thrilled when she gets back from a birthday party in the middle of the night, and suddenly trips over the legs of her Ex-Boyfriend Kayle. She is even less pleased about the story Kayle tries to convince her of - that she, of all people, who hasn't even ever led a scouts group, is a dragon princess from a country called Fayna, which can only be reached by way of magic portal. Most bizarre of all is his theory that they are soul companions, but can never be together - because only she would be capable of bringing peace to the people they both come from.
