Cast Up by the Sea

Gilliatt, an outcast from Guernsey, embarks on a perilous journey to retrieve a ship's engine in hopes of winning the heart of Deruchette, the niece of a shipowner. Following the destruction of her uncle's vessel, she vows to marry the one who can bring back the engine.
