Sensory processing describes the way we receive and interpret the incoming stimuli to our body's seven sensory structures: Proprioception (position), vestibular (movement and balance), touch (tactile), sight (visual), hearing (auditory), smell (offactory) and taste (gustatory). These sturctures work together to help us to interpret all the different snesory stimuli we receive each day.
