The Victorians

This title is designed to make history fun by giving teachers all that is needed to plan stimulating and exciting lessons, comprehensive background information, detailed lesson plans that include ideas for support and extension, differentiated activities at three ability levels and suggestions for incorporating ICT. It can be used as a sequential series of lessons, or be 'dipped' into as and when required. The Victorians includes chapters Victoria and her children, social reformers, clothing, education, transport, inventions and the Industrial Revolution, rich and poor, sports and leisure, health and hygiene and looking for evidence of the Victorians.
