Success factors of projects in the Austrian government services

Focusing on the success factors of project management, this scientific work analyzes the performance of Austrian government services in relation to maturity and specific success factors. The author draws from personal experience to highlight the increasing pressure on the Republic's budget and the need for efficient project management, often utilized in private sectors to enhance competitiveness. The study addresses the challenges of applying project management in public administration, which is frequently viewed as distinct from private enterprises due to unique environmental factors.
