Himalayan Passage

Set in the sixteenth century, the story follows Tara, a Himalayan girl destined for an arranged marriage. When Mughals arrive, searching for a woman prophesied to become one of the sultan's wives, Tara experiences a whirlwind of fear and excitement as she discovers she is the chosen one. The narrative explores her internal conflict and the cultural implications of her fate, blending themes of destiny, identity, and the clash between personal desire and societal expectations.
