Focusing on ceramic wares from the Lower Columbia River region, this paper aims to expand knowledge on Shoto Clay or Lake River Ceramics. It addresses the challenges faced in previous research, including the scarcity of professionally conducted excavations and limited access to artifacts for scientific analysis. This work seeks to fill gaps in understanding this unique aspect of regional history and culture.
