A fourteen-year-old runaway named Andi Neil embarks on a quest to redeem her deceased father while grappling with feelings of being shunned and orphaned. Accompanying her on this journey is Damon, a unique and fantastical companion who is nine inches tall, red, and possesses striking features such as black fangs, lidless eyes, horns, wings, and a barbed tail.
