Telamon the Greek

Set in 460 B.C., the story unfolds after Persia's naval defeat at Salamis, with Athens poised for its Golden Age. Aegina, led by Telamon, stands as a crucial adversary. Captured by Persians near Cyprus, Telamon is compelled to aid in their conflicts against the Scythians and Egyptian revolts. After two years, the Persian King, indebted to him, returns Telamon to Aegina, where he intends to marry Souria, intertwining personal ambition with the broader historical struggles of the time.
