The Power Line

Set in the 1980s, the narrative follows an amateur historian exploring the legacies of the Adirondacks through the stories of an aging woodsman and bootlegger. As he seeks to uncover the life of Fran Germaine, an old-time fiddle player, the woodsman's tales are nearly lost to time. The plot takes a turn with the discovery of Rosalyn Orloff's diary, a socialist writer and theorist linked to Carl Jung, adding depth and historical context to the woodsman's memories and the region's rich past.
