Focusing on the perceptions of nurses in long-term care facilities, this qualitative study explores their communication with doctors to ensure safe resident care. Through interviews with six nurse Team Leaders, the research identifies key areas for enhancing communication skills. The interdisciplinary teams led by these nurses include various healthcare professionals, emphasizing the collaborative nature of care. The findings highlight the leaders' commitment to their roles and reveal specific concerns regarding communication improvements with physicians.
