Study of Double Parton Scattering in Photon + 3 Jets Final State

Focusing on photon + 3 jets final states in Proton-Proton collisions at 7 TeV, the study investigates Double Parton Scattering (DPS) patterns. Utilizing a new Monte Carlo generator method, it offers higher-order corrections to the Single Parton Scattering (SPS) background. The research examines if DPS contributions enhance the alignment of measured data with Monte Carlo predictions, revealing that theoretical uncertainties in SPS are greater than anticipated. Additionally, it presents a comprehensive set of DPS-sensitive measurements for further analysis.
