Thus, training future generations of software engineering researchers and bridging the gap between academia and industry are vital to the field. The International Summer School on Software Engineering (ISSSE), which started in 2003, aims to contribute both to training future researchers and to facilitating the exchange of knowledge between academia and industry.     • Die Untersuchung von Magnetisierungsdynamiken in einem multiskalaren Umfeld ermöglicht eine schnelle Bewertung der Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert-Gleichung. Diese Methode eignet sich für große Systeme mit lokal variierenden Spinstrukturen. Der herkömmliche mikromagnetische Simulationsrahmen wurde erweitert, um ein multiskalares Lösungsverfahren zu integrieren. Dadurch können verschiedene Bereiche eines ferromagnetischen Samples selektiv simuliert werden, wobei je nach Spinstruktur eine geeignete Diskretisierung sowie ein mikromagnetisches oder atomistisches Modell verwendet wird.
