Claudia Kübler
Claudia Kübler (b. 1983 in Zurich) engages with geological processes, holes, and the concepts of time—its measurability, elasticity, and visualization. Through her installations, kinetic objects, and transformative sculptures, she utilizes materials that embody ephemerality. Often crafted from sand or plaster, her works at the Kunstmuseum Luzern evolve throughout the exhibition, influenced by climatic conditions and visitor interactions. Key themes in her exploration include duration, collapse, cycles, and transformation. Central questions arise: How do we perceive time? How do other beings, or even stones, experience it? When is a work considered complete, and what impact does time have on its definition?
