On a normal day like any other, ordinary seventeen-year-old Shion is thrust from his home of Manchester into an extraordinary world of fantasy and conspiracy. This world is very much like ours, expect for a crucial difference; a small group of people known as Demi-humans are instilled with magical powers and animal-like appearances. Living with cat-girl Kimmi, Shion is drawn into an unfolding conspiracy delving into the heart of this new society of Illania. A conspiracy involving shady murders, two orphaned sisters given powers beyond anything seen before and a shady mega-company that dominates the world. With his new gang of friends, Shion's strange connection to the shocking murders becomes more apparent, and he is forced to reckon with this new world.
