Focusing on deep foundations in civil engineering, this paper outlines key concepts and definitions, referencing current standards. It presents a case study on the Strauss pile construction in Barbacena/MG, detailing its feasibility and the monitored executive method through visual inspections. The analysis addresses execution errors against technical standards and offers systematic solutions. Findings indicate notable improvements in productivity and economics during construction, emphasizing the critical role of supervision and adherence to design and execution standards for Strauss-type foundations.
