A compilation of interviews conducted over a twenty year period with veterans from the town of Scituate, Massachusetts, and in some cases Cohasset, Massachusetts, by the author who is also a veteran. Those interviewed served in wars from World War II to Afghanistan. Also includes information about Leonard Wheatley, a Revolutionary War veteran and excerpts from letters of William Reuben and James Andrews, two Civil War veterans.
