Focusing on the effectiveness of teachers in secondary schools, this study employs both qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze performance in selected schools in Kabale Municipality from 2008 to 2009. It explores teachers' attitudes toward appraisal schemes, the impact of feedback on these schemes, challenges encountered during performance appraisals, and the influence of appraisal design on outcomes.
