René H. Levy, PhD, Profesor Emérito de la Universidad de Washington, dedicó su carrera académica a la neurociencia y la investigación de la epilepsia, publicando más de 300 artículos académicos. Baseless Hatred
Reflects on the phenomenon of baseless hatred, focusing on such hatred amongst Jews themselves and directed by non-Jews toward Jews, both in Israel and in the Diaspora. Ch. 6 (pp. 107-125), "The 'Palestinian Issue': Land Dispute or Islamist Hatred?", and ch. 7 (pp. 127-139), "Western Hostility: The New Antisemitism" deal with hatred of non-Jews toward the people of Israel. Considers the Islamists as the main force behind the growing antisemitism worldwide today. Surmises that, in order to withstand this hatred, the Jews have to put an end to the baseless hatred amongst themselves and unite.
