Paul Scheurich
Porzellangestalter, Zeichner, Grafiker | Porcelain designer, illustrator, graphic artist
Paul Scheurich (* 1883 New York - 1945 Brandenburg) was one of the most important porcelain modellers in the first half of the 20th century. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of his death, the exhibition goes in search of traces. Just how versatile Scheurich was as an artist is underlined by his work in porcelain for Meissen and other German manufactories as well as by his drawings, illustrations, forays into commercial art and a modest number of bronze statues.
