The study investigates the challenges faced by fourth-grade students in Panarung Palangka Raya, Indonesia, regarding their ability to describe locations based on floor plans. It identifies deficiencies in writing skills, including language use, spelling, punctuation, and diction, with only 9 out of 23 students achieving the mastery threshold. To address these issues, the researcher proposes a class action research project utilizing a 4-D learning model (define, design, develop, disseminate) to enhance Indonesian language learning outcomes.
