Austerity measures led to reduced funding, resulting in school mergers, salary cuts for teachers, and diminished operational resources. Concurrently, an influx of refugees and immigrants has introduced new social dynamics, prompting a reevaluation of educational practices. As the country seeks to align with European educational strategies, ongoing legislative and administrative changes impact daily school operations, reflecting a period of transition and adaptation.

Focusing on the challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic, this work explores the urgent adaptations in educational practices through the lens of pedagogical Freinet. It documents the experiences and actions taken in both traditional and distance education settings, emphasizing the need for immediate solutions to ensure students' psychosomatic development. The author highlights the importance of creating a virtual classroom that fosters community, cooperation, and democratic processes, addressing the disruption in regular schooling and the necessity of maintaining educational engagement.
