Focusing on the impact of ICT infrastructure, this study examines academic performance differences in public primary schools in Matete Sub-County from 2008 to 2016. It compares schools with and without ICT support, investigates the influence of technical support on performance, and explores teachers' perceptions of ICT usage. Employing a descriptive survey design and quantitative methods, data was collected through structured questionnaires targeting head teachers and teachers from both supported and non-supported schools, utilizing purposive and random sampling techniques.

Die Untersuchung analysiert den Einfluss des World Vision ICT-Projekts auf die akademische Leistung von Grundschulen im Matete Sub-County zwischen 2008 und 2016. Sie vergleicht Schulen mit und ohne IKT-Infrastruktur sowie solche, die IKT im Unterricht einsetzen, mit denen, die dies nicht tun. Zudem wird die Beziehung zwischen technischer Unterstützung durch IKT und der akademischen Leistung sowie die Wahrnehmung der Lehrer hinsichtlich des IKT-Einsatzes untersucht. Die Studie nutzt ein deskriptives Umfragedesign und quantitative Methoden zur Datenerhebung über strukturierte Fragebögen.

Este estudo analisa a influência das TIC no desempenho acadêmico das escolas primárias do Sub-Condado de Matete entre 2008 e 2016. Investiga diferenças entre escolas com e sem infraestrutura TIC, o impacto do apoio técnico e a percepção dos professores sobre o uso das TIC no ensino. Foram utilizados métodos quantitativos e questionários estruturados.
