This is the english translation of "Kitab Al-Mihnah" ( The book (about) the affliction) which is the narration of the author Hanbal ibn Ishāq – rahimahullāh – regarding the incidents and what occurred when the Imām of Ahlus-Sunnah Abū ‘Abdillāh Ahmad ibn Hanbal was tested and afflicted for refusing to say that the Qurān is created. The book furthermore contains relevant rulings regarding prayer, the ruler, ikrah (compulsion) and more.About the Hanbal ibn Ishaq ibn Hanbal is the cousin (son of the uncle) of Imam Ahmad.The book is translated by Abu Hajar and published by Al-Aqeedah
