    The Next Step
    Clearing Things Up
    • Balancing Life, Priorities, Serving God, Boundaries. 5 Males or Females. When Bob’s assistant has to leave the office, Bob is forced to answer his own phone. Bombarded with people demanding his time, Bob tries to avoid further commitments, but keeps his calendar open for a seeker friend. This sketch looks at the scheduling demands that can get in the way of the true passion of ministry.

      Clearing Things Up
    • Community, Men's Relationships, Friendship. 2 Males. Male bonding is taken to a new level in this sketch as two men have to work around their machismo to express their need for community and fellowship with each other. Through the delicate ritual of borrowing each other’s tools, the two neighbors show each other just how much their friendship means.

      The Next Step
    • This humorous script features a cantankerous yet likeable old man who lets us know that in his day things were different in the church--they didn't have to "talk everything to death," wonder how they could improve the church, try to identify people's giftedness, do dramatic presentations or use fancy instruments. His preference of harsher and often harrowing "good old days" -- "That's the way it was and we liked it!" --makes us laugh at just how fortunate things are for today's church. There are several dramas featuring this character. This drama is concerned with utilizing the Arts in church. Casting: 1 Old Man.
