Silence that Echoed is the translation of the Urdu poetry book "Sadaye Sukhan," penned by Khwaja Wahab Sabir. While the translation of Urdu poetry in English, especially ghazals, is an arduous task, the translator–Mudassir A. Khan–has used his peculiar way of translating Urdu ghazals by keeping its repeating and rhyming words. I am optimistic that both Urdu and English poetry lovers would enjoy reading this book.
