B. Ivy Woods escribe desde que tiene memoria. Después de obtener su licenciatura en Ciencias Políticas y Política Ambiental, y una maestría en Política y Derecho Energético, y de trabajar en el campo ambiental durante varios años, decidió convertirse en madre en casa. Fue entonces cuando los pensamientos de una carrera como escritora realmente despegaron. Aunque compitió en NaNoWriMo varias veces, 2019 fue el primer año que ganó.
