This book is about animal-experimental and clinical studies on periodic hemodynamics (p. h.) at the microcirculation level, often also referred to as vasomotion and flowmotion. After an introduction on terminology and history of research on periodic hemodynamics, various models and methods to study this phenomenon at the microcirculation level are presented.
