Research on crime and criminal justice at the Max Planck Institute

The present publication is intended to provide a short, summarized overview of the most important research projects conducted by the Criminological Research Unit of the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law in Freiburg during the last years. We concentrate on the following Research on justice administration and sentencing proceedings, cohort research, victim research, community crime prevention, police and social control, environmental, economic and organized crime and comparative international research.
