Más información sobre el libro

This volume presents the proceedings from the 3rd International Conference on Business Process Management (BPM 2005), held in Nancy, France, from September 5–8, 2005. This year introduced several innovations, including an industrial program and co-located workshops, reflecting the growing industrial interest in BPM and the expanding research community. The conference received over 176 submissions from 31 countries, with 25 full papers accepted (20 research and 5 industrial) alongside 17 short papers. In addition to regular and industry presentations, invited lectures were delivered by Frank Leymann and Gustavo Alonso. The diverse mix of high-quality research papers, industrial contributions, keynotes, and workshops underscores BPM's status as a mature conference and a key venue for both researchers and practitioners. Special thanks are due to the Program Committee members and reviewers for their efforts in curating an excellent scientific program. The selection process for the 25 best papers, with a 14% acceptance rate, involved at least three reviews per paper, ensuring a rigorous evaluation, except for some out-of-scope submissions.
