This publication is divided into three sections; the first deals with Adolf Hitler and his intentions as he presided over the rebuilding of a Germany shattered and humiliated after WW1; the second examines D Day to VE Day and presents General Eisenhower's report. The third section of the book discusses the judgement of Nuremberg, 1946. World War II was over, but Europe had to be rebuilt for the future and there were the perpetrators of Nazi War Crimes to be reckoned with.
