Die philosophische Frage nach Urteilskraft ist eine dezidiert neuzeitliche und moderne, - kann ihre Thematik doch als generelle Befragung eines dem Menschen möglichen Selbst- und Weltverhältnis-ses genommen werden, als Orientierungsvermögen und Selbstkompetenz. Damit aber erweist sich ein Bedenken von Urteilskraft als Reflexion und Revision bisheriger Subjektphilosophie, deren Auslotung Positionen des 18. und 20. Jahrhunderts zu Rate zieht und das Vermögen zu Urteilen vor allem als persönliches Selbstdenken innerhalb von Gemeinschaften versteht. *************** The philosophical question of our powers of judgement is a decidedly recent and modern one – even if its theme can be understood as a general questioning of possible human attitudes to the self and the world, as a capacity for orientation and as personal competence. However, this proves a consid-eration of powers of judgement to be a reflection and revision of previous ‘Subjektphilosophie’ which uses positions of the 18th and 20th century to take soundings and understands the ability to judge principally as personal form of thinking for oneself within society.
