Algae of Ukraine

The second of a scheduled 2 volume set on the algae of the Ukraine. The present volume deals with 945 species in 157 genera of Coscinodiscophyceae, Mediophyceae, and Bacillariophyceae. For all taxa nomenclatural data including basionym, main synonyms, occurence and distribution in Ukraine, with reference to world distribution. Atlas of original drawings and microphotographs of new and rare Ukrainian taxa.
