The Frequency Dictionaries series produces dictionaries with comparable frequency data across various languages, representing the first comprehensive compilation for many featured languages using a large-scale empirical base. Available in print and electronic formats, each dictionary lists the most frequent 1,000 word forms by frequency and the 10,000 most frequent forms alphabetically. They include an introductory description of the data and methodology, along with language-specific statistical information on letters, word structure, and structural changes. An enclosed CD-ROM offers a more extensive e-book version containing data on up to 1,000,000 word forms. For less-resourced languages, the lists are shorter due to smaller corpora. The Indonesian word list in this volume features 1,000,000 word forms, available as a plain text file on the CD-ROM, organized alphabetically and by frequency, allowing for easy generation of word lists for various applications. The printed dictionary's word forms have been meticulously checked for accuracy, while the comprehensive list on the CD-ROM has been evaluated using automatic plausibility criteria.
