Danube - a river journey

The Danube has for a long time attracted visitors and writers. This book contains 55 travel impressions and poems by 24 authors (from Austria, America, Britain, Denmark, Germany, Italy) travelling between the 1820's and today. Their memories paint a vivid picture of the many facets of the landscape, the history and the splendid bbeys and other cultural monuments of the Danube Valley.
