This is a new edition of the course Steiner gave to students of economics (called World Economy in other editions). This edition includes the discussions held after some of the lectures where Steiner goes into more detail and answers questions from the participants. Steiner shows here a new way of thinking that is necessary to grasp the living organism of the world economy He also discusses such themes as the three kinds of money; the lictors of price formation; the creation, production, and consumption of values; and the economics of cultural work.
