This volume presents the proceedings of the third International Conference on Dynamics in Logistics LDIC 2012, focusing on the identification, analysis, and description of logistics dynamics. Topics covered include modeling and planning of processes, innovative methods such as autonomous control and knowledge management, and new technologies like radio frequency identification and mobile communication. The increasing dynamics in logistics present new challenges, requiring processes and networks to adapt swiftly to changing conditions. LDIC 2012 served as a platform for researchers from both academia and industry to explore technical advancements in logistics dynamics.
